To provide a retainer for bearings excellent in assembly easiness capable of assembling a plurality of tapered roller bearings into the inside of the bearing together with the retainer by comparatively a smaller force.
The retainer for bearings is partitioned by a series of annular ring portions 2, 4 circumferentially continuous along the inside of the bearing, a plurality of pillars 6 circumferentially arranged along the annular ring portion at predetermined interval after extending along the inside of the bearing from the annular ring portion and internal peripheral surfaces 2s, 4s of the annular ring portion and inner wall surfaces of a plurality of pillars and the retainer comprises a plurality of pockets 8 which freely rotatably hold a plurality of rolling elements 5 one by one, and in the internal peripheral surface 2s of the small-diameter side annular ring portion 2 in each pocket, an annular rotating guide way 2a which guides and holds an end surface 5e of the rolling element to the prescribed direction when bearings are successively formed along the circumferential direction and bearings are rotating, in its outside, and in its inside, an annular assembly guide way 2b which guides and holds the end surface of the rolling element to the prescribed direction when the rolling element is assembled into the inside of the bearing together with the retainer are provided.
