Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retainer for a conical roller bearing capable of being easily unitized with an inner ring and conical rollers, and an assembling method of the conical roller bearing capable of improving productivity.SOLUTION: A retainer 108 retains a row of conical rollers 106 disposed between an outer ring 104 and an inner ring 102 of a conical roller bearing 100. The retainer 108 has a large end rim 116 disposed at a large end side, a small end rim 120 disposed at a small end side, pillar portions 128 hung between the large end rim 116 and the small end rim 120 at equal intervals and forming pockets 126 capable of inserting the conical rollers 106 from an outer side, and a hooking portion 124 projecting from an inner face 132 of the large end rim 116 toward the inner ring 102 and hooked on the large end side of the inner ring 102. An inner diameter φd1 of the small end rim 120 is larger than an outer diameter φD1 at a large end side of the inner ring 102, and an inner diameter φd2 of the hooking portion 124 is smaller than an outer diameter φD1 at the large diameter side of the inner ring 102.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
