To provide a retainer for securing a spring end, which is capable of keeping the cushion property of a seat good, because the spring end can be stably hooked and the occurrence of foreign sound due to oscillation accompanied with the deformation of the spring and the deformation due to the stretching of the spring can be prevented, when securing the spring ends on the axis of a round shaft arranged at at least one side of an opposed frame portions.
The retainer for securing the spring end has a U-shaped body ring 6a fitting on the axis of the round shaft 3 and a pair of shaft receiving pieces 6b and 6c of a spring end 7a folded and bent outwardly from both ends of the body ring 6a, the substantially U-shaped axis of the spring end 7a are formed as retaining fittings for the spring 7 being hooked and secured at the folded and bent base portions of the shaft receiving pieces 6b and 6c from the side portions of the body ring 6a.
