Abstract:

To provide a retainer retaining a surgical treatment appliance so as to improve the sureness in operation in the minute treatment.

This retainer 4 for retaining the surgical treatment appliance 2 is provided with an insertion part retainer part 18 (first retainer part) retaining an insertion part 12 (first part) of the surgical treatment appliance 2 and an operation part retainer part 20 (second retainer part) retaining the operation part 14 (second part). One end of a first retaining arm 28 (first arm) is connected to the insertion part retainer part 18 and one end of a second retainer arm 30 (second arm) is connected to the operation part retainer part. The other end of the second retainer arm 30 is branched from the first retainer arm 28. The other end of the first retainer arm 28 is connected to a lever 50 (change means) for changing the flexibility of the first and second retainer arms 28 and 30.
