To provide a retainer which prevents an attaching portion to be attached to a fixed member from transforming accompanying a transform of a part holding portion to hold a part and performs attaching work and detaching work to the fixed member simply even if the part holding portion transforms.
The retainer includes a base 11, the part holding portion 12 which holds a part inserted into a through-hole 31 formed approximately at the center portion of the base 11, and pressing portions 13 and 14 which are formed opposing each other to both ends approximately paralleled with a part inserting direction of the base 11 and presses at least one of the front 100A and the back 100B of a chassis 100. The part holding portion 12 is extended opposing each other from the base 11, detachably engages a pair of sidewalls 32 and 33 to demarcate a portion of the through-hole 31 with a tip side of the sidewall 33 by extending from a tip of the sidewall 32, and has an opening-closing portion 34 to open and close the part holding portion 12. The pressing portions 13 and 14 are arranged each having some spaces from the sidewalls 32 and 33.
