Abstract:
To provide a retardation film in which a positive A plate and a positive C plate are laminated and which can suppress a change in a color due to a viewing angle.SOLUTION: There is provided a retardation film 10 which is used together with a liquid crystal display panel or an organic EL display panel and arranged as a portion of an image display device and includes a positive A plate 14 having positive A type characteristics, and a positive C plate 13 having positive C type characteristics. ΔNA obtained in ReA450/ReA550 of the positive A plate 14 is between 0.94 and 1.10. ΔNC obtained in RthC450/RthC550 of the positive C plate 13 is between 0.82 and 1.00. A difference between the maximum value and the minimum value of Rthp, Rthq, Rthr in the lamination state of the positive A plate 14 and the positive C plate 13 is equal to or less than 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
