The container protects a non-self-supported liquid-substance-filled package formed by filling a flexible package bag having a flexible liquid-substance pouring nozzle with a self-sealing non-return function with the liquid substance in an airtight condition. The retention container for the liquid-substance-filled package comprises a self-supported container body and a cover body. The container body has an integrated shape formed of half-split bodies capable of being opened/closed and exhibiting a tubular shape except a flat upper part thereof. The cover body is fitted to the flat upper part of the container body so as to rise and rotate about one end serving as a pivot point and slide in a width direction.
