PURPOSE: To obtain a reticular body including glass fiber for civil engineering with large strength, by laminating thermoplastic synthetic resin sheets and long glass fiber mats, and by heat-fusing them to be pressed.
CONSTITUTION: With the upper and lower sections of the thermoplastic synthetic resin sheet 1b of polypropylene, polyethylene, or the like, long glass fiber mats 2a, 2b through rolls 3, 4 are put together, and with the upper and lower sections of the mats, thermoplastic synthetic resin sheets 1a, 1c fed from rolls 5, 6 are put together. After the laminate units are pressure-integrated with each other by a laminating device 7, the units are softened by fusion by a heater 9 and a reticular body 16 of a specified length is formed in press processings 10, 13, 18. The strength of the resulting reticular body 16 including glass fiber obtained is large, and the obtained reticular body can be used for the sheathing of the inclined surface of banking, the reinforcing of poor subsoil, and the like.
