PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a replaceable needle assembly for a prefilled retractable syringe with a retaining member and a plunger.SOLUTION: The retractable needle can be replaced by a user without affecting a retracting structure. A replaceable needle assembly includes a needle mounted to a retractable needle mounting fixture and a needle holder. The needle mounting fixture is detachably screwed into a retaining member of the barrel. The needle holder includes a plurality of finger portions. The finger portions releasably engage a retractable needle, thereby preventing the retractable needle from being unintentionally retracted before being engaged with a plunger. The plunger includes a plunger seal. The plunger seal includes an outer member and an inner member which engages a needle to allow retraction by spring action. When retraction is completed, a lock is formed between the barrel and the plunger to thereby prevent the syringe from being reuse.
