Abstract:
To enable an armrest to be used when a table is used in a case where a retractable form in which the table is retracted into a housing is adopted.SOLUTION: An upper opening 15 is formed on an upper plate 12 of a casing 10 and a lid plate 60 which may open or close the upper opening 15 is provided at the upper opening 15. A table plate 80A is connected to one end 92A1 of an arm 90A. A first hinge mechanism 81A in which an axis as seen in a vehicle width direction is set to a rotation axis is provided at the other end of the arm 90A. The arm 90A may rotate around the rotation axis C1 of the first hinge mechanism 81A between a retracted position and a lifted position. A second hinge mechanism 82A is provided between one end 92A1 of the arm 90A and the other end. In the second hinge mechanism 82A, an axis as seen in a vehicle fore and aft direction is set to its rotation axis C2 in the lifted position. At an upper end of a side plate 14A of the casing 10, a notch 16A is formed at a position facing the rotation axis C2 of the second hinge mechanism 82A when the arm 90A is in the lifted position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
