PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retransmission control method in a multi-cast service providing system that can reduce occurrence of congestion in a wireless period.
SOLUTION: In the retransmission control method in the multi-cast service providing system where an information distribution unit distributes multi-cast information to a wireless terminal in a service area via the wireless period, the wireless terminal, whose transmission of a retransmission request is allowed is decided. When the retransmission request of the multi-cast information distributed from the decided wireless terminal is made to the information distribution unit, it is attained by the retransmission control method in the multi-cast service providing system where the information distribution unit distributes the multi- cast information.
