Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance controllability for retreating a vehicle.
SOLUTION: A shifter motor 19 is provided which serves as an actuator for shifting a gear for retreating the vehicle with a starter motor 17 and a mode in which an engine 9 is started by the starter motor 17. A switch panel 12 is provided adjacent to handle grip 13 and a starter/reverse switch 121 for controlling the starter motor 17 and a reverse shift switch 122 for controlling the shifter motor 19 are arranged adjacent to each other on the operating surface of the switch panel. The switches allow a rider to perform a single-handed operation for retreating the vehicle, depending on the positions of the switches.
