PURPOSE: To speed operation when the number of terminal stations is large, by permitting a central station to retrieve a dial number which can not be retrieve by each terminal station, by making newly or modifying tables of dial numbers of terminal stations, whose dial numbers are given newly or changed, and the center station.

CONSTITUTION: To the 1st∼3rd terminal stations EX1∼EX3, a central station EX is connected, and to respective terminal stations EX1∼EX3, (n) units each of facsimile terminals F11∼F1n, F21∼F2n, and F31∼F3n are connected. The terminals EX1∼EX3, and the central station are provided with dial address tables DAL1∼ DAL3, and DAL programmed through software. When a dial number is given newly or modified or when a terminal station EX4 is extended, the address tables DAL1∼DAL4 and DAL of the terminal stations EX1∼EX4 and central station EX are modified correspondingly, and a dial number which can not be retrieved by respective terminal stations EX1∼EX4 is retrieved by the central station EX, thus speeding the operation.
