Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector which can delay a return time in accordance with a condition of an electric compressor.
SOLUTION: This protector 100 comprises: a switch including a first terminal 130, a second terminal 140, and a bimetallic disc 170 for opening/closing a current passage between the first and second terminals; an upper base 110 including an inner space in which at least one surface thereof being opened and storing the switch inside the inner space; and a lower base 200 including PTC, and first and second terminals 230 and 240 of positive characteristic thermistors electrically connected to electrode surfaces 220 and 222 of the PTC, respectively. The lower base 200 is constituted such that when the lower base is mounted to the upper base 110 so as to close the inner space of the upper base 110, the PTC is connected to the switch in parallel.
