To provide a return mechanism of a vehicle braking device capable of reducing the force to pull a cable for a parking brake when the parking brake is applied, and capable of smoothly returning a hydraulic cylinder to drive a lever for a service brake.

A return mechanism consists of a lever 3 for a service brake to activate a braking device and a hydraulic cylinder 5 to drive the lever 3, a lever 4 for a parking brake and a cable 6 to drive the lever 4, and a return spring 7 of the lever 3 for the service brake, one end of the return spring 7 is fitted to an end part of a piston rod 5a of the hydraulic cylinder 5, and the other end is fitted to a bracket 8 for the return spring arranged in the cylinder body.
