Abstract:
To facilitate the storage of a returned article in the same place that an article of the same lot number is stored.
Article storage cases 6 have a serial number or a lot number. A rack 5 for storing the articles 6 has location numbers indicative of storage positions. A server stores the location numbers indicative of article storage positions. A portable terminal 7 establishes wireless data transmission with the server. When a shipped article is returned in an unused condition, the portable terminal 7 reads out the location stored in the server where an article having the same lot number as the returned article is stored.
