To provide the subject apparatus simplified in structure, capable of improving the recovery of a 1st product without damaging the outer skin, capable of increasing working efficiency, so designed as to select a returning carrier to e.g. a sorting returning mode so as to return a treated product onto a swing sorter.
This returning apparatus is equipped with a threshing section 2 having a threshing cylinder 21, a swing sorter 3 to sort a treated product threshed in the threshing section 2, and a returning carrier 9 to return the treated product dropped from the sorter 3 to a 2nd gutter 5. In this case, the returning carrier 9 is designed to be capable of selecting either sorting returning mode so as to return a treated product onto the swing sorter 3 or threshing cylinder returning mode to return such treated product above the threshing cylinder. It is preferable that the returning carrier 9 is equipped with a carrying origin 91 communicating with the 2nd gutter 5 and a carrying destination 92 having a returning port 92a revolvably connected to the free end of the carrying origin 91, and the revolution of the carrying destination 92 enables the above selection between the sorting returning mode and threshing cylinder returning mode.
