When the data carrier is mounted on the wrist, an adhesive part 9 with which one edge part of the band is coated is overlapped on the other edge part of the band so as to be press-fit and fixed. When the data carrier is removed from the wrist, one portion of the coil-shaped antenna overlapped with the adhesive part is characterized so as to be peeled and damaged, or the mounting part of the IC chip 2 overlapped with the adhesive part is characterized so as to be peeled and damaged. Therefore, its non-contact communicating function is made unavailable.
