Title:
REVERSE FLOW PREVENTION MECHANISM FOR EXHAUST FLUE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3905328
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify fixing of a mechanism for preventing reverse flow of air to an exhaust flue 1.
SOLUTION: The mechanism is constituted of a fixing member 2 which is internally in contact with the exhaust flue 1, a rotary shaft 3 which is attached to the fixing member 2 right angle to the channel of the exhaust flue 1, and a plate-shaped valve element 4 which is able to block the channel and is held by the rotary shaft 3 at a position deviated from the center of gravity. The fixing member 2 is provided with a fair wind stopper 20 for stopping the rotation of the valve element 4 at a given angle when the valve element 4 is rotated in an exhausting direction by the flue gas, and an adverse wind stopper 21 for preventing the valve element 4 from rotating in the direction of reverse flow from the position for blocking the channel.
