To provide a reverse input cut-off reduction gear with a self-lock function, using a gear mechanism independent from a worm reduction mechanism.
The reverse input cut-off reduction gear comprises a differential gear mechanism 15, a reverse gear mechanism 17 and an output gear 16 in combination. The differential gear mechanism 15 consists of a bevel gear 24 of a first input gear 10, a bevel gear 26 of a second input gear 20, a differential part intermediate bevel gear 28 meshed with both gears, and a differential part intermediate shaft 25 supporting the differential part intermediate bevel gear 28 and linked with the output gear 16. The reverse gear mechanism 17 consists of a reverse part input gear 31, a reverse part intermediate bevel gear 32', and a reverse part output gear 33. The first input gear 10 is integrated with a first input bevel gear 24 of the differential gear mechanism 15 and meshed with the reverse part input gear 31. The reverse part output gear 33 is meshed with a second input gear 20 of the differential gear mechanism 15. Thus, a gear train is self-locked against reverse input from the output side.
