Abstract:

To provide a novel reverse input cutoff clutch capable of transmitting a great rotation torque from an input member to an output member regardless of a simple and radially compact configuration.SOLUTION: An actuation member 30 is configured by directly fixing in an axial direction an actuation shaft 36 which is actuated by rotating a tabular input member 4 while being inserted into a first guide hole 10 formed in the input member 4, and an actuator 34 which acts on an inner peripheral surface of a peripheral wall 15 provided in an output member 6. When engage parts 35a and 35b formed in the actuator 34 are engaged with an engaged part 16 which is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the peripheral wall 15 of the output member 6, by rotating the input member 4, the rotation of the input member 4 is transmitted to the output member 6. On the other hand, while the actuator 34 is located at a predetermined position, the engage parts 35a and 35b and the engaged part 16 are disengaged, and the rotation of the output member 6 is prevented from being transmitted to the input member 4 by idling the output member 6 with respect to the input member 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
