To prevent an input rotation member from being rotated owing to a reverse input torque generated after input torque transmission, in a reverse input shutoff clutch which transmits only one-way input torque.
A one-way clutch for drive 7 which engages (locks) an input gear 1 with an output rotation member 5 in such a way that torque is transmitted in a fixed direction, is incorporated between the input gear 1 and an output sleeve 3 rotatably fitted into a fixed shaft 2. A one-way clutch for reverse rotation prevention 8 which idles a flywheel 6 in a fixed direction and stops it by engaging it with the fixed shaft 2 against the rotation in the reverse direction, is incorporated between the flywheel 6 driven by being pushed by the input gear 1 and the fixed shaft 2. When input torque supply in the fixed direction stops, the flywheel 6 coasts and releases a locked state of the input gear 1 with the output rotation member 5 by the one-way clutch for drive 7, and the flywheel 6 stops without causing the reverse rotation, thereby keeping the unlocked state.
