This reverse input shutting-off clutch is provided with an input side member 9 in which rotation torque is inputted, an output shaft 12 for outputting rotation torque, an outer ring 13 for restraining rotation, a torque transmission means 21 provided between the input side member 9 and the output shaft 12 to transmit input torque from the input side member 9 to the output shaft 12, and a lock means 22 provided between the outer ring 13 and the output shaft 12 and locking the output shaft 12 and the outer ring 13 for reverse input torque from the output shaft 12 to shut off torque transmission to the input side member 9. Input torque is transmitted to the output shaft 12 by the torque transmission means 21 while unlocking a locking state of the output shaft 12 and the outer ring 13 by the lock means 22 when loading input torque. The input side member 9 is constituted by other members of an input shaft 10 and a cage 11, and play in the direction of rotation is provided in a rotation transmission part 20 between the input shaft 10 and the cage 11.
