To provide a reverse osmosis permeated liquid of milk and a skin lotion containing the liquid as an active ingredient.
This permeated liquid is obtained by directly treating a milk of mammal, especially preferably cow's milk with a reverse osmosis membrane. In more detail, the permeated liquid is a solution prepared by removing macromolecular ingredients such as a protein, a polysaccharide, a peptide and a nucleic acid from the milk of mammal such as the cow's milk. The permeated liquid contains humectant ingredients such as a mineral, urea and an organic acid similar to natural humectant factors present in the healthy skin and is useful as a material for cosmetics because it contains water-soluble and low- molecular fractions included in the milk. Furthermore, the lotion having a low irritation and free from causing a cutaneous allergy is provided by removing the macromolecular ingredients. Moreover, the permeated liquid has growth promoting effects of animals and can be used as a health drink or a feed for animals.
