Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an integrator which is used as an automotive odometer, for instance, and is especially provided with the reverse rotation preventing mechanism of an integrating cam.
CONSTITUTION: In an integrator provided with the reverse rotation preventing mechanism, an inclined face forming a groove width gradually wider from the inner part of a groove to a groove opening part on the surface opposed to the single tooth of a tooth space is provided on the one-digit mile display integrating cam 72 and a pinion short tooth to be engaged with the tooth space 9c to a tooth space outside direction is pressed by the rotation force by which the one-digit mile display integrating cam is rotated normally with the inclined face 9e in a direction out of the grear groove and by releasing the engagement of the pinion short tooth with the tooth space 9c, the normal rotation of the integrating cam is not hindered.
