To make rotation of an output side member 2 smooth by suppressing occurrence of a stick-slip phenomenon in which the output-side member 2 repeats locking and rotation, even in the case where the output-side member 2 can rotate at a higher speed than that of an input-side member 1, in the same direction as the input-side member 1 during rotation of the input-side member 1 of a reversed input breaking clutch.
The reversed input breaking clutch is provided with a friction giving means 10 which applies frictional resistance on the output-side member 2 during rotation of the output-side member 2 with respect to a stationary side member 3. The friction giving means 10 is disposed outside a clutch body. In addition, the friction giving means 10 is arranged so as to extend over the stationary side member 3 and the output-side member 2, and has a frictional member 10b made of resin which comes into frictional contact with the outer peripheral surface of the stationary side member 3.
