Title:
REVERSIBLE GUIDE FOR VISUALLY HANDICAPPED PERSON
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3706293
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible passage for a visually handicapped person capable of being properly used simply at the time when a borderline can be passed at all times and at the time when the borderline cannot be passed at all times.
SOLUTION: When an open-close door 4 for a station-building entrance 2 is opened at all times, blocks 30 for both guidance and warning are fitted so that guidance projecting sections 32a are directed to surfaces, blocks 40 for both guidance and planes so that guidance projecting sections 42a are directed to surfaces and blocks 50 for both the planes and warning so that the planes are directed to surfaces. The visually handicapped person can pass through the station-building entrance 2 as it is without stopping near the entrance 2 in this case. When the open-close door 4 for the entrance 2 is closed at all times, meanwhile, each block is overturned and the blocks 30 are fitted so that warning projecting sections are directed to surfaces, the blocks 40 so that the planes are directed to surfaces and the blocks 50 so that warning projecting sections are directed to surfaces. Since the visually handicapped person stops in front of the entrance 2 without passing as it is in this case, the person does not collide with the open-close door 4 by mistake.
