Title:
REVERSIBLE THERMAL RECORDING MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3164653
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To extend a transparent temperature range to ensure a stable transparent state even with a fluctuation of a heating temperature by a method wherein as an organic low-molecular compound dispersed in a high-molecular resin matrix, at least one kind of specific acid anhydride and at least one kind of specific aliphatic satd. dicarboxylic acid are used in combination.
CONSTITUTION: A reversible thermal recording material obtained by dispersing an organic low-molecular compound in a high-molecular resin matrix reversibly changes between a transparent state and an opaque state depending on a temperature. On a surface of, e.g. a synthetic resin substrate sheet 1, a reflection layer 2, a recording material layer 3, a protective layer 4, and a printing layer 5 for forming visible recording indication windows 6 are laminated. On the rear surface thereof, a magnetic recording layer 7 and a protective layer 8 are provided. In this invention, as the low-molecular compound, A) at least one kind of acid anhydride derived from higher fatty acid having 12 or more carbon atoms and B) at least one kind of aliphatic satd. dicarboxylic acid having 12 or more carbon atoms are used in combination. In this manner, a transparent temperature range is extended for ensuring a stable transparent state even with a heating temperature change.
