Abstract:
To provide a reversible thermal recording medium which has excellent recording repeatability, light fastness and durability.
This reversible thermal recording medium 10 has reversible thermal recording layers 31 to 33 containing in a resin a thermal color developing compositions which can reversibly change in two ways, i.e. colorless and colored, depending on temperature variations, formed in a planar direction of a supporting substrate 1. In this medium 10, a leuco dye compound added to the thermal color developing composition is specified with regard to its chemical formula.
