Abstract:
PURPOSE:To aim at simplification of the structure of the whole facility and the pneumatic piping therein by providing, on the upper surface of the motor casing of an air motor, a normal/reverse switching device section including a valve casing, in which a main valve and a pilot valve are placed in parallel, in such a manner that it is united with the air motor. CONSTITUTION:A reversibly rotatable air motor 1 is comprised of an air motor section 1a and a normal/reverse switching device section 2, and then, the air motor section 1a is provided with a structure in which a rotor 7 is placed in a cylindrical motor casing 3. While, the normal/reverse switching device section 2 is provided with a structure in which a main valve 16 and a pilot valve 17 are placed in a main cylinder 14 and a pilot cylinder 15 respectively, being provided in a valve casing 13 firmly attached to the upper surface of the motor casing 3. In the valve casing 13 are provided main intake passages 25a, 25b for the normal rotation and the reverse rotation and auxiliary intake passages 26a, 26b for the normal rotation and the reverse rotation, and then, the two main intake passages 25a, 25b are caused to open and close simultaneously by means of the main valve 16, and the two auxiliary intake passages 26a, 26b are caused to open and close alternately by means of the pilot valve 17.
