Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a revetment material and a method of revetting for easing construction of revetment, lowering costs of material and construction, preventing not only soil from eroding but also earth and sand from flowing out without fail, and improving easiness and certainty of construction.
SOLUTION: The revetment material comprises a pillar-shaped part which is formed by using dried plants and connection parts provided on both sides of the pillar-shaped part in a longitudinal direction, wherein each of the connection parts is connected with the connection part of another revetment material which is adjacent thereto in a longitudinal direction, so that the end surfaces of the revetment materials may be fit to each other tightly in a longitudinal direction.
