To provide a revetment capable of being dynamically stabilized and preventing the contaminant from flowing out to the open sea over a long period of time during the time when stabilization of waste progresses.
The revetment 1 consisting of a layer of fine sand 5 provided in the direction of the depth of water, layers of gravel 3 provided to the outside of the layer of fine sand 5 and a cut-off wall 7 provided between the layer of fine sand 5 and the layer of gravel 3 is constructed. A slit-like permeable section 9 in the vertical direction is provided to the cut-off wall 7. Protective mats 23 are arranged to both surfaces of a permeable intermediate supporting member 25. When the water level 19 in a disposal field 15 becomes higher than the water level 21 of the open sea 17 by variations in a tide level, the revetment 1 is made to vary a pore diameter of a water channel or the velocity of water by the layers of gravel, the permeable section 9 and the layer of fine sand 5 to cause a turbulent flow, and the flow discharged from to the open sea 19 from the inside of the disposal field 15 is reduced.
