Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pivot bearing having a structure that can be manufactured in less-expensive manner while keeping a specified performance.SOLUTION: This pivot bearing 10 includes an inner ring 11 having at its outer peripheral surface an inner ring side rolling bodies running surface 12; an outer ring 21 having at its inner peripheral surface an outer ring side rolling bodies running surface 22 and arranged outside the inner ring 11 in such a way that the outer ring side rolling bodies running surface 22 may oppositely face against the inner ring side rolling bodies running surface 12; and a plurality of rolling bodies 31 arranged to be rotatable at rolling bodies rolling runway 28 formed by the inner ring side rolling bodies running surface 12 and the outer ring side rolling bodies running surface 22. Then, the inner ring 11 or the outer ring 21 is constituted to have a press processed outer contour shape portion and a removal processed portion including at least the inner ring side rolling bodies running surface 12 or the outer ring side rolling bodies running surface 22 formed by the removal processing while being mixed to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
