One side of a driver's seat is opened as a hatch c, and an operating oil tank 4 is arranged at an end part of a step 2 on the other side of the driver's seat 15. The inclined face b in plan view is formed at a side face on the step 2 side at the front part of the operating oil tank 4. A longitudinal flat face communicating with the step 2 is provided between the inclined face b and an operating column 25. Further, a lateral flat face is formed between the tip part of a turning frame 19 and the front end face of the operating oil tank 4 and the front end face of the operating column 25. The longitudinal flat face and the lateral flat face are communicated to constitute the preparatory doorway a communicating with the hatch c and the step 2.
