Title:
REVOLVING PISTON TYPE FLUID MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5928082
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the wear-resisting performance on the surfaces bearing races, by reducing pressure acted per unit area of the bearing races through employment of such an arrangement that a cylindrical bearing element is kept in area-contact with the race surfaces.

CONSTITUTION: By imparting a small curvature R to the surfaces of a cylindrical bearing element 224 facing two races 214, 221, an oil film existing in wedge-shaped spaces S formed between the two races 214, 221 and the surfaces of the cylindrical bearing element 224 facing the two races 214, 221 produces hydraulic pressure in the direction of thrust and the force in the direction of thrust produced by revolution of a movable scroll member is received by the hydraulic pressure. Thus, since it is made unnecessary to receive the force in the direction of thrust directly by two rings 215, 222, wear of the two rings 215, 222 and the cylindrical bearing elements 224 can be reduced.
