Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a revolving seat bearing which can maintain rigidity as much as possible while being reduced in size.SOLUTION: A revolving seat bearing comprises: a first bearing ring; a second bearing ring arranged radially outside the first bearing ring, rolling bodies 14 which are provided capable of rolling between the first and second bearing rings; and a seal member 42 which seals a clearance between opposing peripheral faces 22A2, 32A1 of the first and second bearing rings. The seal member 42 is fixed to the peripheral face of one bearing ring out of the first and second bearing rings, and slidably contacts with an axial end face of the other bearing ring. A recess 50 in which the seal member 42 is arranged is formed at an axial end face of the other bearing ring. The recess 50 includes a flat face along a radial direction in which the seal member 42 contacts therewith, and a tapered face 52 which is formed at a side opposite to one bearing ring in the radial direction with the flat face 51 sandwiched therebetween, and inclined outward in the axial direction as progressing toward a direction in which the tapered face separates from one bearing ring.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
