To provide a revolving type rough terrain transport vehicle for which operability and safety are improved in a rough terrain transport vehicle comprising an undercarriage and a revolving super structure.

The revolving type rough terrain transport vehicle includes: an undercarriage 2; a revolving super structure 3; a driver seat 6; a load-carrying platform 7; a revolving operation part disposed inside the driver seat 6 for performing a revolving operation of the revolving super structure 3; a sensor 17 attached to a lower surface of the revolving super structure 3, for detecting an angle of the revolving super structure 3; a body 18 to be detected, which is formed on an upper surface of the undercarriage 2; a detection part to be detected by the sensor 17 and a plurality of non-detection parts not to be detected by the sensor 17, that form the body 18 to be detected; and stop means for stopping the revolving operation of the revolving super structure 3 when it is recognized that the sensor 17 does not detect the detection part and is at a position of the non-detection part. When the sensor 17 is at the position of the non-detection part, the driver seat 6 is positioned on a front side or a rear side of the undercarriage 2.
