Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an RF coil for an MRI provided with a validity/invalidity switching circuit for obtaining the obstruction impedance of a sufficient size without generating the problem of loss or the like at the time of changeover at the time of transmission and reception.
CONSTITUTION: Inductors and capacitors are arranged as a bridge circuit so as to make the inductors and the capacitors oppose each other and a switching element D is arranged between the two middle points of the bridge circuit. A serial/parallel changeover type resonance circuit 10 to be a state where the two sets of serial resonance circuits are connected in parallel when the switching element D is in a non-conductive state and to be the state where the two sets of parallel resonance circuits are connected in series when the switching element D is in a conductive state is formed in an element as the validity/invalidity switching circuit at the time of the transmission and the reception.
