Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering rhodium by which the rhodium can be effectively and selectively recovered as a crystal using wet treatment from a nitrous acid neutralization filtrate and loss of the rhodium due to repetition to a refining process can be suppressed.SOLUTION: A method for recovering rhodium from rhodium refining waste liquid is a method for recovering the rhodium from a nitrite neutralization filtrate in a waste liquid generated in a refining process of the rhodium, the rhodium is separated and recovered as crystal of hexanitrorhodium (III) acid ammonium by adding ammonium chloride in a ratio of 20-30 g/l to the nitrite neutralization filtrate. In this case, the crystal of the hexanitrorhodium (III) acid sodium naturally deposited in the nitrite neutralization filtrate before adding the ammonium chloride, is separated and recovered as it is, together with the crystal of the hexanitrorhodium (III) acid ammonium.
