A crimping part 19a and a head part 16a of a rivet 11a are configured from protruding parts 24a, 24b and pressing flange parts 23a, 23b, respectively. Inside surfaces of the pressing flange parts 23a, 23b press against outside surfaces of the flat parts 12a, 12b. The protruding parts 24a, 24b are truncated cone shaped, the large diameters of which are on the pressing flange part 23a, 23b side. The diameter d24 of top parts of the protruding parts 24a, 24b is equal to or less than the inside diameter R15 of a circular hole 15, and the outside diameter D23 of the pressing flange parts 23a, 23b is equal to or greater than the outside diameter D24 of bottom parts of the protruding parts 24a, 24b. Furthermore, the projection amount L23 of the pressing flange parts 23a, 23b from the protruding parts 24a, 24b is equal to or less than twice the axial thickness T23 of the pressing flange parts 23a, 23b.
