Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveform cage which can enlarge a plate thickness of an annular member and a diameter of a rivet by avoiding a dimensional constriction of each component and a constriction related to interference between a caulking jig and the annular member, and can thereby enhance the rigidity of the cage.SOLUTION: A waveform cage comprises a pair of annular members 21 in which pocket forming parts 22 and column forming parts 23 for holding balls 13 are alternately formed in a circumferential direction at substantially-equal intervals, and a rivet 30 which connects the column forming parts 23 of a pair of the annular members 21. The rivet 30 is elastically deformed by a caulking jig at its both ends after being inserted into a rivet hole 23a of a pair of the annular members 21, and thus, a head 31 is formed. The head 31 is formed into a shape which extends to a radial direction in which radial widths of the annular members 21 are larger than circumferential widths of the annular members.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
