Abstract:
To provide a ribbon cartridge that is able to restrict loosening of an ink ribbon around a winding core.SOLUTION: A ribbon cartridge comprises: a drawing core 105 on which an ink ribbon 111 having an ink surface 127 and a back coat surface 129 smaller in a friction coefficient than the ink surface 127 is wound; a winding core 107 on which the ink ribbon 111 drawn from the drawing core 105 is wound; a cartridge case 109 accommodating the drawing core 105 and the winding core 107; a first ribbon guide 135 being provided in the cartridge case 109 and contacting the ink surface 127; and a second ribbon guide 137 being provided in the cartridge case 109 and located further downstream than the first ribbon guide 135 in a feed direction of the ink ribbon 111, and contacting back coat surface 129; wherein a radius r2 of the second ribbon guide 137 is larger than a radius r1 of the first ribbon guide 135.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
