Abstract:
PURPOSE: To cut off the sound emitted from a head by providing a cover covering the upper part of the head.
CONSTITUTION: A cover 7 having openings on the bottom surface side and left side thereof is provided between the ink ribbon receiving part 4 and printing part 5 of a ribbon cassette 1 so as to cover the upper part of a printing head 3. Since the ribbon cassette has a shape covering the periphery of the head, the sound emitted from the head can be cut off and a low noise dot impact printer can be provided.
