Abstract:

To provide a use of an amide compound and a method for effectively controlling rice blast.

The subject agent is produced by mixing N-[(R)-1-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)ethyl]-2-cyano-3,3-dimethylbutanamide with an active insecticidal component selected from 5-amino-1-[2,6-dichloro-4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-4-(trifluoromethyl)sulfinyl-1H-pyrazole-3-carbonitrile, 1-(6-chloro-3-pyridylmethyl)-N-nitroimidazolidin-2-ylidenamine and ethyl N-[2,3-dihydro-2,2-dimethylbenzofuran-7-yloxycarbonyl(methyl)aminothio]-N-isopropyl-β-alaninate.
