Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker reducing the operating sound of decompression means and the sound of air flowing into the inside of an inner pot which are raspy to a user, by the will of the user.SOLUTION: The rice cooker includes: an inner pot 6 storing material to be cooked; decompression means 28 decompressing the inside of the inner pot 6 from normal pressure to pressure lower than the normal pressure; pressure return means 31 returning the inside of the inner pot 6 from the reduced pressure to the normal pressure; and control means 41 controlling the decompression means 28 and the pressure return means 31 so as to repeat to make the pressure of the inside of the inner pot 6 have the reduced pressure or the normal pressure in soaking time. The control means 41 installs a mode where the configuration of decompression frequency inside the inner pot 6 in a soaking step can be changed using an operation part 16, as decompression frequency configuration changing means 85. Because the user arbitrarily can change the configuration of the decompression frequency inside the inner pot 6 in soaking time using the operation part 16, the operating sound of the decompression means 28 and the sound of air flowing into the inside of the inner pot 6 which are raspy to the user, can be reduced by user's will.
