Title:
RICE COOKER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01192314
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable discharge of remaining boiling water with a comparatively inexpensive device and to make unnecessary the measurement of water quantity by being equipped with a control means to stop the heating of a water container and discharge remaining boiling water in a rice cooking container into the water container after a water temperature in the rice cooking container arrives at a boiling condition and an approximately constant time passes. CONSTITUTION:For a control means 21, at a time point Pb when a time counting from a boiling time point Pa reaches a time T set beforehand, a water heater 13 is turned off and the heating of the water container 10 is stopped. Thus, when the heating of the water container 10 is stopped, the temperature in the water container 10 is gradually reduced, the inside of the water container 10 is a negative pressure, a remaining boiling water 18 in the rice cooker 10 passes through a transparent hole 9 of a diaphragm 8 and is discharged into the water container 10 accompanying this. Thus, after the water 8 of a suitable quantity is absorbed into a rice 17, the remaining boiling water 18 in the rice cooking container 1 is discharged into the water container 10, and therefore, an expensive electromagnetic valve is not necessary and the water heater 13 only may be provided.
