To cook delicious rice with a sweet taste by increasing a carbohydrate content of rice by installing the first heating controller which controls a heating means to maintain a pan to a pre-determined impasting temperature and the second heating controller which completes cooking by controlling heating means after the impasting time elapses.
A control circuit board 8 has the first heating controller 15 in order to maintain a pre-determined impasting temperature and a measurement signal from a temperature sensor 7 is inputted by means of a temperature detector 14. The first heating controller 15 controls the input of a coil 6 and maintains the pan 3 to the pre-determined imputing temperature. An impasting temperature is established by an impasting temperature setting means 17 beforehand. The setting time may be changed by a step of 5 minutes by way of the setting means 18 which establishes the time for setting an impasting time. When the control of the first heating controller 15 is over, the second heating controller 20 drives a coil drive means 16 based on the measurement signal of the temperature sensor 7, generates alternating magnetic field in the coil 6 and controls the heating of the pan 3.
