Title:
RICE WASHING/COOKING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2561420
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To perform a series of rice cooking work with one device by sucking the polished rice measured by a weighing meter from a polished rice hopper at the lower section of a frame into a rice washer at the upper section of the frame together with air, feeding a required quantity of water to the rice washer for rice washing, shifting the washed rice to a rice cooker for rice cooking, and tilting the rice cooker.
CONSTITUTION: Polished rice is measured by a weighing meter 6 at the opening section 2' of a polished rice hopper 2 provided at the lower section of a frame 1. Air is sucked by an air suction blower 9 via an air/water separator 8 and a suction pipe 10, and the inside of a rice washer 3 at the upper section of the frame 1 is decompressed. The measured polished rice is sucked into the decompressed rice washer 3 via a pipe 7. A specific-quantity of water is fed from a water feed pipe 11 for rice washing, and water is drained from a drain pipe 22 after the specific time. A specific quantity of water is fed from a water level adjusting pipe 12 into a rice cooking pot 4 through a discharge port 3' together with the washed rice, and the mixture is heated by a heater 5 for rice cooking. After rice cooking is completed, the cover of the rice cooking pot 4 is opened, the rice cooking pot 4 is tilted, and the cooked rice is shifted to another container. A series of rice cooking work can be performed by one device without requiring human power.
