Title:
RICE GRAINS ALIGNING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5931205
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a rice grain aligning machine, which is applicable to a color selection device, by furnishing two or more paths on a table equipped with a vibrator for the purpose of feeding rice grains thereon, and by placing the rice grains effectively in alignment without causing lying one over another or tumbling.

CONSTITUTION: A rice grain aligning machine 6 comprises an electric vibrator 4 and a table 9. On this table 9 are installed two or more paths 8 each equipped with an inlet 12 and an outlet 13. The inlet 12 shall front to the receptacle part 7 for rice grains 2, and the outlet 13 is provided with a fall-off part 14. Each path 8 receives rice grains 2 one after another in good alignment and lets them fall linearly. The paths are formed by rising walls 10 at the edges of the table 9 and partition walls 11 standing between said rising walls 10. The width W of a space between two adjoining partition walls 11 shall be a little larger than the width w of a rice grain 2 in its transverse direction. The table 9 is put in vibration by the electric vibrator 4 to allow the grains at the receptacle part 7 to proceed to paths 8 in good alignment one after another, and they are fed to the next stage from the outlet 13.
