PURPOSE: To prevent any inconvenience due to adverse effect of an excess load generating on a rice hulling roll power transmission device by providing a rice hulling roll gap adjustment means based on the detected load current value of a main drive motor for a rice hulling roll and a means of stopping a gap between rice hulling rolls when the opening of a unhulled rice supply adjustment valve is adjusted.
CONSTITUTION: The rice hulling part 1 of a rice hulling device is equipped with a main motor 27 for driving paired rice hulling rolls for hulling the rice, a transmission belt 28 for driving the rice hulling rolls 9, 9 by rotation following the receiving of a rotating power, a rice hulling roll gap adjustment motor 37 for adjusting the opening/ closing of a gap between the paired rice hulling rolls 9, 9, and an unhulled rice supply adjustment valve 33 for adjusting an unhulled rice supply to the rice hulling rolls 9, 9. In addition, the rice hulling roll 9, 9 gap adjustment device adjusts the gap between the paired rice hulling rolls 9, 9 automatically using the roll gap adjustment motor 37, based on the detected load current value of the main motor 27 for driving the rice hulling roll 9. Further, the gap adjustment device stops the output of a gap closing command signal in a closing direction to the rice hulling roll gap adjustment motor 37 when the opening of the unhulled rice supply adjustment valve 33 is adjusted.
